Like my first viral tweet, this second one went viral on a topic, which was on top of news. These days, when the world is changing, CNN is running only in the background, but my main attention is with Twitter.
When a government official announced that Mubarak will step down, I tweeted:






The viral phase was a little longer than the previous one, but still within 4 hours, the tweet crossed 1'000 RTs -
In addition, it got approx 250 old RTs.


One day earlier, there was a great tweet by adelshehadeh:





And when Mubarak indicated his step-down, but refused to do so, I tweeted:




Again, timing was one of the key factors of this viral tweet. I tweeted it only a few minutes after the world got to know it and it was hot, emotional news. A little bit of irony, simplicity & an outlook ...
