Google tries to do a pretty revolotionary thing here:
> A system level language, even more efficiant than C
> Almost as rich as C++ and Java
> As simple, fun and fast to program as JavaScript or Python
> And, for todays world: a lot of internet & networking support built in ...
I find it an excellent approach, and many things match with what I personally think, programming should go to (what should be different to the MS or Java world ...)

Like with many things google develops, this again is very close in the basic philosopy to what Colayer does - and fits well into our technology - will the next flavour of Colayla be on Go? - maybe! would love to! - but the language is far from beeing in a stage, where I would start the development. I think its gona take at least 6 months to have all tools & stability needed and see, how it works out, and if it will be accepted by the tech community. The main factor here: it is (again) VERY AMBITIOUS on a technical level, and the big question is: will it work? (I guess so, but:) and will it have enough advantages to make engineer switch from the so much more mature languages of C etc? -
